Seed Dreaming - Molly Tasman Napurrurla

This Dreaming tells of the special seeds that women collect from Country and prepare as an important source of food.

There are many different kinds of seeds, which are gathered and carefully prepared before being ground into a fine powder. The women mix the ground seeds with water to make a special damper, which is then placed in the hot coals of the fire to cook.

The story carries important knowledge about Country, including the different seeds that can be collected, where they are found, and the traditional ways they are prepared and cooked.
