Women’s dreaming - Judy Martin Napangardi

This Dreaming tells of a women’s ceremony and the important cultural knowledge held and passed on by women.

The Dreaming belongs to the women, who carry this knowledge as they travel across Country from north to south and east to west. Along the way, they teach younger generations about Country, ceremony and the Dreaming stories connected to different places.

Women from different skin groups share this responsibility, ensuring that the Dreamings and their associated knowledge are taught to the young people and continue to be carried forward through generations.
