SKIN- patterns and shapes of the land
Skin has been Inspired by the patterns and shapes of the land, the nonconformity in design as the ocean leaves its mark on the sand with the outgoing tide, the lustre and uniqueness of the Torres Strait sunset.
Painting for me is therapeutic; I escape into the world of designing, creating patterns and shapes full of movement, colour and rhythm.
With every bush stroke, mark and application of paint, the work slowly comes alive; forming its own unique personality.
