To understand the source of Emily’s inspirational verve one only has to listen to what she continually said ‘my land, this is me’. The dotting throughout this work reflects the mythology of her country called Alalgura. The movement between colours indicates the vast sources of bush tucker carpeting the whole country magically transformed after rain.
