Ms. Uhl, a young woman with a disability, called Fitzroy Crossing in the West Kimberley region of Western Australia her lifelong home. Through her abstract paintings, she beautifully reflected her love for her Country and community. Ms. Uhl's art, characterized by subtle color blends and understated, abstract shapes, captures the tranquil atmosphere and vast landscapes of the Kimberley.
