All the Jila depicts the network of jila, permanent waterholes, where Bertha Linty’s family stopped as they travelled in from the desert to Bidyadanga. Coming from the desert side, close to the Canning Stock Route, the journey covered a long distance and passed through many different Countries before reaching saltwater Country.
