One Country - Benita Woodman

Hailing from a large family of artists, Benita Woodman began painting at a young age and has develop a style that is highly emblematic of the work being created across Iytewelepenty, (the Davenport Ranges). Combining rhythmic brushstrokes and dotwork with repeated figurative motifs, Benita's landscapes depict the famous hill country of Iytewelepenty with subdued earthy colours, and rich textures, reflecting the rocky nature of the semi-arid environment surrounding her desert home.
