PROVENANCE
Framed Gallery, Darwin NT

Born 1972 at Utopia in the Central Desert of the Northern Territory. A granddaughter of Kathleen Petyarre, she has been collected by over 9 collections and has exhibited on over 30 occasions.

In Aboriginal communities ceremonies play a significant part of the life cycle. This painting depicts one of these ceremonies. It is a popular theme for Abie to paint.
